The start of Whoopsie DaisiesChrissy Pawlyshyn is a native of the Chicagoland area. Growing up a Chicagoan, she always loved the flowers on Michigan Avenue and in the parks along Lake Shore Drive. She often spent her weekends during the Chicago winters at the Lincoln Park Conservatory, the Garfield Conservatory and the Chicago Botanical Gardens, studying the development and beauty of flowers. Having a green thumb and a passion for arranging flowers, Chrissy dreamed of opening her own flower shop in the city some day.

After years of planning, finding the perfect space and bringing her family and friends together, they built what is now Whoopsie Daisies at 1319 West Grand Avenue, just west of Ogden Avenue. This bright, up-and-coming area is known as West Town. They moved in during the summer of 2006 building out the space and opening one of the only flower shops in the area.
With her consistent smile and persistent service, Chrissy has been happily helping her customers in West Town and thoughout Chicagoland choose the perfect arrangements for their loved ones and for their special occasions.
